Search History

When performing a quote search you are able to quickly access your previous search history just by clicking into the search bar labeled Search Zip or Address

Autocomplete

When you begin to type in the Search Zip or Address field the application will attempt to provide you with relevant autocomplete results to chose from. The application will organize the results into a few different categories:

• Cities
• Zipcodes (zip codes will only populate after you have entered five numbers)
• Counties (counties will appear after you enter the county name followed by county EX Lake County)
• Addresses
• History (if you have history it will always be attached last)

Warning

In order to initiate a search you will need to click or otherwise select a result from the autocomplete list. Typing in the search bar and hitting enter will not initiate a search.

Search Bias

If a zipcode search is performed the application will bias the next search autocomplete to that zipcode's geographic area. This is useful when getting a general zipcode from a customer and then following up with an actual address.

Result Types

There are two different layouts of search results. Either choice will result in the same search results but the structure of the output will be different. You can view the full explanation of search results layouts here. To choose a preferred results layout you can select it with the buttons just below the search bar. Your preference will be remembered so you should not have to continue to set this on later searches.
