Filtering

video_library Video Available

As noted in the description for the dumpster layout, filtering is an important new feature that will help you narrow search results to fit a customer's needs. When a search is performed you will be able to filter the visible results by several pieces of data:

  • Size (volume) - 10 yard, 20 yard, etc.
  • Availability - when a hauler can potentially perform a delivery
  • Waste Types - what item or combination of items can go into the dumpster
  • Cost Structure - examples are flat rate and haul + disposal
  • Service Area - narrow results to a specific hauler(s) service area

Tip

Filtering is a powerful tool that can be used on sales calls to quickly narrow results to fit what the cusomter needs.

Example

A customer calls and needs a dumpster tomorrow (select Next Day availability). They are cleaning out a basement and will need to be disposing of general household waste but also have an old oven to dispose of (select Household and Appliances waste types). The basement is very full so to be safe they would need more room than too little so the suggestion may be for a 15 or 20 yard dumpster (select 15 and 20 yard size).

Having selected all the applicable filters based one the customer's job and timeframe, the results in our search would be narrowed from nearly 100 different products down to just one that fits the customer's need exactly.

Note

If you filter by service area the map and mini map will reflect that. Only the service area(s) you select will be represented on the map.

Show Nearby

As with previous versions of the application there is a 'show nearby' option. If you select show nearby the application will widen it's search to all service areas that fall within a 40 mile radius of your present search.
