Service Area Alerts

Service area alerts can be applied to one or many hauler's service areas. These alerts will only be visible when a specific service area with an alert appears in a search - they will not appear in any other searches the hauler appears in. These may be most useful to call out a specific area where a hauler may have a delay or may be low on inventory.

Create an Alert

  1. Navigate to the hauler's page - this will list all the current haulers in the application
  2. Search or select a hauler - hauler's are listed in alphabetical order so a search may be required
  3. Select a service area from the list on the left - the service areas are differentiated by color
  4. Select the 'Alerts' tab - it should appear furthest to the right
  5. Hit 'Add Service Area Alert' - this will display a new alert form
  6. Select the service area or areas the alert will apply to - you can apply the same alert to one or many of the serivce areas
  7. Fill out alert text and apply any necessary expiration or checkback dates
  8. Hit 'save' - this will save the alert and make it available in searches

Tip

If you find you've made a mistake or no longer need to create an alert just hit the 'discard' button.
