Hauler Alerts

Hauler alerts are the type of alert broadest in scope. They will appear in all searches that the hauler appears regardless of service area or pricing. The should be used in situations where users need to be alert to something fundamental to the hauler's availability or serviceability.

Create an Alert

To create a hauler alert:

  1. Navigate to the hauler's page - this will list all the current haulers in the application
  2. Search or select a hauler - hauler's are listed in alphabetical order so a search may be required
  3. Select the 'Hauler Alerts' tab - this tab will be located under the service area map
  4. Hit 'Add Hauler Alert' - this will show a new alert form
  5. Fill out alert text and apply any necessary expiration or checkback dates

Tip

If you find you've made a mistake or no longer need to create an alert just hit the 'discard' button.

Update an Alert

  1. Navigate to the hauler's page - this will list all the current haulers in the application
  2. Search or select a hauler - hauler's are listed in alphabetical order so a search may be required
  3. Select the 'Hauler Alerts' tab - this tab will be located under the service area map and will have a count of current alerts
  4. Find the alert to edit - there can be multiple alerts for a hauler
  5. Hit the 'edit' button to unlock the form
  6. Make necessary edits and hit 'save' to save them

Delete an Alert

  1. Navigate to the hauler's page - this will list all the current haulers in the application
  2. Search or select a hauler - hauler's are listed in alphabetical order so a search may be required
  3. Select the 'Hauler Alerts' tab - this tab will be located under the service area map and will have a count of current alerts
  4. Find the alert to edit - there can be multiple alerts for a hauler
  5. Hit the 'delete' button and confirm that you want to delete this alert
